Sim4People SOLVE Incident & Problem Management workshops now feature Single Position, Multi Position and SWAP Cases in the Incident Management Section.
Single Position = all group members have identical information
Multi Position = one person acts as Situation Manager with no information other than the initial situation. 3-4 workgroup members have access to role based information regarding the issue at hand and need to communicate and share this information
SWAP Case = 2 Groups work on the symptom clarification and initial facts gathering for 2 different incidents. The output of this work has to be documented and will be handed over to the other group (SWAP) to continue working – simulating an escalation scenario. The challenge – the receiving group has to work with what they get!
